Ferrari F620 GT Teased

Teasing next generation cars has become somewhat of an art form lately, and leave it to Ferrari to raise the bar. 

Recently there have been random spy shots of the disguised Ferrari 599 successor testing on the track but this is much more interesting.

Normally I’m not one for spy shots, but after seeing the teaser video of the F620 GT in production, I decided I’d discect the video to get a little more of the car. 

Judging by close-ups, the cockpit shape is similar to the current 599 and California but the rear fenders might look more like those on the 458. It will be interesting to see how the proportions pan out since this is a front-mounted V12 which is set to go head-to-head with the 700hp Lamborghini Aventador.

The pixelated, disguised shot is from this video recently released by Ferrari. The video shows the car being track tested and judging by this, it sounds a lot like the 599 GTO. 

The final image is a rendering offered by Wild Speed which basically looks like an FF half-assedly thrown together with a California, but from what I’ve seen from Ferrari’s actual footage, the rendering is off.

Hopefully it takes more of its design cues from the 458 and 599 rather than the FF & California. Can’t wait to see the outcome!
